Maria Barcons Campmajó

Doctorate in Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Master’s Degree in Women, Gender and Citizenship Studies (UB, UAB, UdG, UPC, UVic) (2011)Graduate in Political Science and Administration, specializing in Public Policies and Administration (UAB) (2007). Obtained by the same university, the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (CAP) in Social Sciences (2007).

Researcher and research technician of the Antígona Research Group, rights and society from a gender perspective, a group recognized since 2009 as a Consolidated Research Group (SGR2014-519) by the Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) of the Government of Catalonia. Researcher in research projects at a European, national, regional and local level.

Research activity developed in the field of gender, law and public policies. Her main lines of research are forced marriages, prostitution, and violence against women: socio-legal aspects, sexual violence and equality programmes in companies.
