Lorena Garrido Jiménez
Associate lecturer in Philosophy of Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and researcher at the Antígona Group. Professor of the Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Women, Gender and Citizenship Studies. Teacher of the Postgraduate Degree «Gender and Equality» (UAB) and «Sexist Violence» (UAB). Degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the University of Chile and Degree in Law from the UAB. Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Law of the program «The transformations in the public right», of the Department of Political Science and Public Law at the UAB. Postgraduate in Environmental Management (UPF) and Postgraduate in Catalan Civil Law (UB).
She has been a member of the GENERA Association (Association for the defence of women’s rights) between 2007 and 2015 and has been a legal adviser at the PIAD (Information Point and Attention to Women) between 2004-2010. Member of Women Jurists since 2003. She has been a consultant of ECLAC, United Nations in the Division of Sustainable Development and Human Settlements.
